putting pictures onto disc

I have been trying to put pictures from my digital camera onto disc.I get so far through, and then a box comes up saying" ASPI FOR WINDOWS IS NOT INITIALIZED", then when I close that box, it then says cdr drive does not exist. can anyone help and please keep it simple

Google has a few ideas but you need to see if any seem relevent to what you
