put computer to how it was when bought?

I have a nasty virus in my computer, and I have a bunch of different things I have tried to get rid of it with, but have finally given up. I know there is a way to completly remove everything from your computer so that it is the way it was when you bought it, but I dont know how.
 
Did you PC come with a Restore CD? This will allow you to restore your PC
and return it back to when you purchased it.

Hi,

What virus? Some infect the boot sector, so restoring to "factory state" may
not be the solution.
