whilst trying to clean some space for installing "sims" (for my lil sister!)
i did certain things called defrag; error checking; disk cleanup. The next
day i tried to do some work on puplisher and it had vanished. All my
puplisher files no longer have the symbol and are replaced with a screen with
little shapes inside. A pop up comes up saying "windows can no longer open
this file, it needs to know who created it". I am presumming i delated
puplisher without realising it. How do i get it back- there is no evidence
in the recycle bin. Please help!

Find your Microsoft Publisher CD and reinstall it.

Hi

Those apps. shouldn't have uninstalled/moved MS Publisher. Other 3rd party
'clean up' apps. may have created a problem though. From Start>Run type

mspub

How was MS Publisher installed - standalone or as part of an Office Suite?
