Pulling Data for Date Range from Excel

I am extremely new to Access. I have a spreadsheet in Excel that has
worksheets with data in column A through Y. The data is updated dail
and so information is in there since January. Sometimes I need t
pull information for a week or two weeks. The problem is, a regula
sort or autofilter is not going to help me with this. Someon
recommended using Access but I have no idea where to begin. Help! Ho
do I set this up and how do I pull the data from Excel for a specifie
date range?

I would highly recommend that if this is urgent, that you hire a consultant
to get you started, then you can decide whether to take on the take yourself
or continue with the consultant. There are several independents on this
board, and many have Access MVP associated to their name.

Imagine your database as your kitchen. Would you hire someone to rebuild
it(cabinets, floors, counters, sinks, etc), or would you do it yourself.
Data isn't much different, especailly when you have to live with it day to
day.
