Pull down menus

How to get rid of this option that only gives a limited pull down menu on
applications, with a "v" to get the balance of the menu? I would like the
entire pull down menu to be restore as the default.

Depending on the application, right click on the toolbar and select
Customize> always show full menu.

what was great is I changed it in Excel, and it made the change in Word and
Powerpoint automatically.
