How do I insert pull down menus in an Excel Spreadsheet?

Did you ever get an answer to this? This is exactly my question as well. I
know you can do it. I even took a class that showed me how once, but too
long ago to remember however.

Hey !! The Tech guy here in the office just showed me. Highlight the
column or columns that you would like the pull down on, go to Data at the top
of your screen, right click, Fliter, right click, Auto filter. The pull down
arrow should be there should be there....

I followed the link below - very helpful! Only trick I can't nail is pulling
the fill color or the 'bold' font from my source list to the destination.
Any ideas?
