publishing problem

I've been successfully publishing my website but after
the most recent updates to it I get the error
message "server error: write error on
file "www/../.../.thumb.db.tmp" Does anyone know what
this means and how I correct it?
 
Remove the thumb.db form you local web copy, and then do not open your local
webs in Windows Explorer.

I have also had difficulty publishing after recent
updates. I haven't found any place in the Microsoft info
that addresses this problem. Does anyone know about
where thisinfo can be found?
 
Which problem are you referring to?

The thumb.db is a user caused problem which can easily be avoided, by never
opening the folders containing a web via Windows Explorer/My Computer or
change the thumbnail viewing option under Windows Explorer/My Computer
