In FP2000, when publishing from my own XPHome system to my remotely hosted
website (www.HistoricHomeWorks.com), FP presents the "Publishing Web
Structure" window with the following choices:

[ ] Don not replace the navigation structure
[ ] Replace the navigational structure
[ ] Let FrontPage merge the changes

What is the "navigation structure?"

My website has simple navigation by links to other pages, like:

href="../library/library.htm">Library</a>][<a
href="../reports/reports.htm">Restoration Reports</a>][<a

href="../education/seminars.htm">Seminars</a>][<a

Is the "navigation structure" something other than my navigational links?

If so, is there a way to set FP so I don't have select the replace/don't
replace choice every time I publish? Could this cause any problems?

Thanks for your help.

John

Select the middle option: [ ] Replace the navigational structure

You only need or be able to select this when the dialog appears, and it should not appear often.

Thomas:

Thanks for your help.

And, what is the navigational structure in a Frontpage website?

John

The navigation the you setup when using Navigation View, such as when using Themes, or any of the FP
navigation components.
