Am I allowed to use photos of public figures such as
http://ak.imgfarm.com/images/ap_uk/images//img_A14285301055788784A.jpg
for my website? I also intend to use photos of top models and actors
and actresses.

I am running an Escort agency supplying high class escorts to city
executives, politicians and tourists staying in top hotels. The photos
would be used to give the impression that if the services of my escorts
is good for top politicians then it should be good for anybody without
overtly mentioning this.

I hope you get the idea.
 
Speak to a laywer. It depends on a number of things.
1. The photographer holds copyright in photos they take.
2. Some celebs are trademarked.

Plus pollies won't be impressed being used to promote prostitution. Look forward to their laywers.

If this is a serious question and you aren't just throwing out some spam
(which it what it sounds like), you should ask a local attorney this
question. It has nothing to do with the XP operating system.

If the services of your escort service is good for top politicians then
it should be easy to get them to sign a waiver, right?

Dave, if you want to spend the next five years in court as a defendant, and
perhaps go to jail, go right ahead with your harebrained plan. You are
planning to use well-known figures to promote a prostitution service,
without first gaining their permission? In London? Sir, you need help that
can only be rendered by a mental health practitioner.
