what is the best way to maintain your reverse lookup zones. I have many
enrties in my reverse lookup zones that have single IP addresses pointing to
many hostnames. I set up the scavenging on that zone and it does not appear
to help. is there anyone that is running in to similar issues and how are
you overcoming these issues

Any help would be great.

Thanks

When scavenging is enabled for the first time, DNS doesn't immediately age the records. This needs to be enabled. Follow 296116 HOW TO: Configure the
Windows 2000 Domain Name System to Age Records http://support.microsoft.com/?id=296116 for information on aging all the records so that scavenging can
take place.

Thank you,
