from the estimates i got from the 3 sites range from 550 watts to 700

Depends on what there is in the case...
I get 261W from Takaman, 203W from casemodgod, 344W from 3dcool and 259W
from jscustompcs

SB Live!Value, Hercules SmartTV, D-Link NetNic(DRN-32TX),Godegen Noble
ATX8012 case with 350 power supply and 80mm rear-mounted exhaust fan,

lol, it estimates my machine at a min of 294W, and I have a 300W PSU,
which is pretty good, but not the worlds best. I also haven't taken
into account my USB flash drive, 120mm fan instead of 80mm fan, and I
have done a FX5200 because they don't list FX550. So according to
those sites my PSU shouldn't be working. I also intend to add a better
sound card, which will be another 10W. It probably doesn't include my
onboard sound, or LAN either.

I'm a little worried about upgrading now, but it should be OK. They
obviously haven't considered CPU efficientcy either. They've
underestimated my hard disk by 5W too.
