Pst not recognize

Hi Everybody,

I have a problem with some PST of user. the PST is
correct but the problem is when I want to add the pst in a
personal folder ( go to > tool > Services > add personal
folder) after I select the way where I can find the PSt.

I have this error message " the PST is not recognize like
a PST folder "

Thank you for your Help
 
Make sure the file ins't marked as "Read Only" and that the NTFS permissions
on the file are correct. Also check the file for errors with scanpst.exe

First of all, thank you for your help
I tried to use scanpst.exe but when it repaired the pst,
there is nothing inside. "read only " is not marked.

What can I do according to you??
 
My guess is that the file is beyond repair. Better restore it from back-up
if one available
