I put in a DSL connection of the w-end and had problems.
I the process I had to reinstall Win98. Well DSL and
Win98 are working fine, when I went to start OutLook97 it
asked me to setup another Microsoft Mail/Internet Mail/
or Exchange Server Mail Acc.

I do not want to do any of these, but when I cancel out
of all of them, it says that it can not start OutLook
with out a profile and stops. It looks like the dialog
boxes that are run when in Control Panel Mail and Fax
setup.

QUESTION: How can I start OutLook and get it back to
the .pst that I was before? I do not care about have an
account set up for email. I can do that manually, but I
need to get past the forced stuff at the beginning to get
to it.

HELP! -Randy-

When you reinstalled, you wiped out your mail profile. You need to recreate
it.

If you reinstalled, I hope you made a backup of your PST, since, depending
on how you reinstalled, you could have wiped it from your disk.

By the way, with DSL, there's a good chance you'll need to authenticate to
your outgoing server and Outlook 97 can't do this. You'll need at least
Outlook 98.
