I was working on a PCU with Office 2003 temporarily and
when I was finished I backed up my e-mail and calendar
information to a PST file. When I try to import it to my
home computer with Office 2000, it tells me that the file
is not compatible with my version of Personal Folders
information service. Anyone have any clue as to how to
retrofit the information into my Outlook?

Kenneth,

You will have to:

1. Create a new "Outlook 97-2002" .pst file in Outlook 2003 (this is an ANSI
..pst file that is compatible with all versions of Outlook)
2. Import the data from the .pst file (with your data) into the .pst file
created in Step 1
3. Open the ANSI pst file in Outlook 2000

Hope this helps.

yep,
i just did this for an entire email domain (about 100
users) and the only way to do it is to use outlook 2003
to import the pst. No other way that I am aware of.
Jim

One little correction, unless you don't mind the loss of data, is to drag
and drop, not import.

What import? Just copy the data from the Unicode folders to the ANSI
folders.
