Pls kindly adv how can I open my archive file with .pst attached. Have try
all means but still cannot open it. Error messages:- Words failed reading
from this file archive. Please restor the connection or replace the floppy
disk and retry.

What are you trying to open it from?
Sounds kinda like your trying to open an attachment to an email.
The pst needs to be saved to, or allready on, the hd, the read only flag
needs to be off. Then in OL File/Open/Data File (depends on version) and
browse to location.
If copying do NOT overwrite any existing pst.
The default name for an archive pst is, wait for it is 'archive.pst' it is
this file you should be opening.

transfer from my hd.

What are you trying to open it from?
Sounds kinda like your trying to open an attachment to an email.

2) How do I check whether the read is on or off

So it's on your harddisk now? Rightclick it in Explorer and choose
Properties-> untick Read Only
