I have a question which I hope someone can answer!

I am aware that there is a limit 2 GB for *.pst files.
However, what I would like to know, is where outlook
calculates this. For example, my *.pst in Outlook shows a
size of 68,532K, in Windows Explorer it shows as 71.7 MB.

Obviously, the size in explorer will 2 GB before the size
visible in Outlook does. So at what point will the *.pst
be full?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Ian

Once Windows Explorer shows 1.82 GB, go into full panic mode. ;) (which
means export/delete items in pst and then do a compact to reclaim space.)

Pst's start getting full anywhere between 1.7 and 2 GB's - we see them
crash out anywhere around there, it's random really.
Murray.
