.PST file problems

I have created a .PST folder on my local C: drive. Was
able to add to it for some time. However, recentely when
I attempt to copy an e-mail from the Exchange Server
INBOX to the local .PST, I get the following error.....
"Can't copy the items. Could not make another copy of the
item. The original was either moved or deleted or access
was denied."
The source message has not been moved or deleted.
Permissions are correct. I can remove messages from the
local personal folder but not add. Running Office2000
with all service pack updates, tried repar, tried re-
install, etc. OS is WindowsXP pro SP1
Any suggestions are much appreciated.
 
Have you checked the size of the pst file ? There is a
limit of 2gig I believe- if this is the case then I
suggest creating another personal folder...hope this
helps.
