pst file lost

I tried to open a pst file of size 175kb, but there's an error message "it is
not a personal data file" and I couldn't open. However, the size reduced to
25kb after the action. The pst contains the contact info of my boss. Pls help

Hi - you have a corrupt data file. I doubt you can do much with it. Do you
have a backup.

Backups are very important!
