PST File - From Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2000

I need to access a pst file that was created with Outlook 2003. I have
Outlook 2000 and when I try to open the file I get a message about it not
being compatible with this version of Outlook personal folders. Is there
anything I can do, short of buying Office 2003?

The only way you will be able to use the Outlook 2003 .pst file is to find
someone with Outlook 2003 who is willing to create an old style .pst file
and copy the data from your Outlook 2003 .pst file into the newly created,
older style .pst file.
