33TB (terabytes) is the theoretical size limit for a new PST under OL2003

Depends on which one is in use.

Outlook 97-2002 Personal Folders (PST) file -
2GB max file size (more like 1.8 or 1.9 in Windows Explorer)
65,000 items per folder
65,000 folders per folder

Office Outlook Personal Folders (PST) file -
20GB max file size (this is a soft limit that can be raised if need be)
Unknown item/folder count

/neo

PS - On the Office Outlook Personal Folders file, the format of the drive is
more the deciding factor. FAT32 formatted drives will not let a single file
grow past 4GB. Therefore to achieve a PST file > 4GB, it would have to be
placed on a NTFS formatted drive.

I think that's 4 TB, the maximum vaue of a 32-bit unsigned integer.

At least three people have answered your initial query. I'm guessing that
you may not be seeing their responses. I hate to ask this question but did
you see this response?
