All of a sudden, I am having problems with Outlook. I can't get in to my
calendar, my tasks will not work, and I can't get into my inbox folders. I
have 2 email messages in my outbox that have been there for 3 days...the
recipents did receive them, multiple times...but they are still in my outbox.
I can't delete them or remove them in any way. Even when I start Outlook,
it takes forever to load. Once it does load, I get a message saying "The
messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem persists,
restart Outlook. Access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or
write-protected and that the file is not being used." After that, it just
goes down hill from there! THEN, when I try to get into my folders, I get
the following: The file (and then it lists the path)\Outlook.pst could not
be accessed. Data error (cyclic reduncancy check). I also get errors
saying that my pst file is being used. I have tried everything......even
tried to export my folders, which of course would not work...I can't even
uninstall outlook! Any help is greatly apprecidated

And your version of Outlook would be...?

Cyclic Redundancy Errors refer to a problem with your harddisk. Ran
Checkdisk already? Also check your Event Log for Disk errors. If there are
Disk errors in it it usually means that your harddisk is failing. If your
harddisk support SMART then you can use a SMART utility (for instance
Speedfan; http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php) to verify the health of your
harddisk.
