pst backup not working

I have the pst backup program from MS installed in Outlook 2003 in XP pro
SP2 and it is not working. I have been using it for over 4 years (Outlook
2K, 2002 and 2003).

The last backup it created was on 4/22/2005. I have uninstalled and
reinstalled the program 6 times and it keeps giving me the same dialogue "No
Personal Folders Files are currently open". But the files are open or I
couldn't call up the program.

I have tried "detect and repair" and uninstalling and reinstalling Outlook
as well as pst backup.

On a related note there is a Personal Folders listing that I can not remove.

You have to set up Options before you can backup. Select the Options button
to do that. Right now, no folders are selected to backup. Then select a
location for the backups.
