PST backup addin is failing because a file is locked. How can I p.

How can I make this work? How can I determine which process has the lock? It
seems that the backup may be beginning to quickly after exiting Outlook.
 
I ended Norton e-mail checking and script blocking.
I still get the message that it cannot copy the file since part of the file
is locked by another process.
I had the task manager open while I shut shown Outlook and noticed that
Outlook.exe disappeared about the same time the message appeared.
It lloks like there may be a timing issue.
Is there a way to start the backup "offline" after I am sure that
Outlook.EXE has ended?

Sure. After Outlook has truly existed, *just copy the PST to another
folder*. No extra application required.
