At the bottom of my Tools list in Outlook 2002 I've just noticed the
ietm 'Psion Synchronizer'. Where would that have come from please? I
have no Psion connected (although I do have a Pocket PC). Clicking the
tool just pops up an animated window called 'Connecting...', until I
cancel it.

Neither of the words 'Psion' or 'Synchronizer' produce any hits in
Help. 'Synchronization' does, but doesn't seem to relate to this tool.

Hi Terry,
I have only seen that in a friends Outlook 2002 that does have a Psion and
he said it was added when he installed the two programs needed for the Psion
to sync. (The Psion versions of ActiveSync) I also have a Pocket PC PDA and
the only thing on my 2002 or 2003 that shows up is second from the top of
TOOLS and its called "Windows CE inbox synch." Have never used it and not
sure how it got there unless its just a part of Outlook these days ?

Thanks, Fred. (My newsreader was showing no replies, but just found
this via Google.)

I don't have that 'Windows CE inbox synch' menu item. Like you, I
don't use Inbox. (Don't use my PPC for any online stuff, except
collecting BBC News from AvantGo while cradled.)

Anyone with any ideas how I get rid of that Psion Synchronizer item
please?
