Prudence is in the Eye of the Shrew

Well that's not a good reason to release a security fix which breaks it is
it? Or maybe it is since it so bad.
The reason why I posted this is because I posted a similar one that had more
"stuff" in it. I asked is it prudent to install these security fixes from
Microsoft? I think 100% said yes. Therefore 100% of them need this fix to
fix the fix. That doesn't sound prudent to me.

I love your subject line, but I'm not sure why you've posted this link with
no explanation - and I don't recommend using Rich Text format anyway. It
often leads to problems when sending mail (esp w/attachments) to non-Outlook
users. Plain text, or even HTML, is better.

This is a particularly bad article in that it never mentions the actual
product which exhibits the problem. Since the words "Office" and
"Outlook" do not appear, I think they're talking about Outlook Express, in
which case "Rich text" means HTML. HTML-formatted mail is pretty bad to
begin with. This problem makes it only slightly worse.

I think they are talking about the control richedt.ocx. That's my take on
it.
