If I ever use the explorer.exe search function, my PC hangs when shutting
down with a Proxy Desktop error message. I then 'end task' and the machine
shuts down.
I can find no reference to it anywhere in the MS knowledge base, Google
searches found two people who had posted the same query on different forums
but neither got a reply.
Does anyone know how to fix the problem or should I just avoid using the
explorer?
