Proxy avoidance softwares?? How do they work??

Hello everyone,
Lately, I'm concerned about internet protocols and had this big
question of how such proxy avoidance websites work?? Can I create my
own?? How??

Any good articles/hints would be appreciated as I have no idea where
to start from..

Well, I think the idea is that those sites have their own connection to
the internet, and you are simply channeling your request through them.
