Does anybody know of anything freeware I can use to prototype software
applications please ? I am thinking of an MS Access + Dan Bricklin +
Demoshield lookey likey.

What exactly do you mean by prototype? Software doesn't lend itself
to making prototypes of programs.

I think I mean more of a screen painter to enable me to 'mock up' what
software will look like for a customer. Customer can then comment and I
can make changes. When all are happy, I can attach prototype screens to
spec and send to development team.

I do that in whatever language I'm writing the program in, if you're
talking about static screens. If you mean dynamic program flow, I've
been using Dan Bricklin's Demo for so long that I have no idea how
long it's been - since before Win 3.1 IIRC. There's nothing that
comes close, freeware or $ware.
