Protoride Virus got me

I can't seem to get rid of it. Ive updated my NAV, and tried all tools from Mcafee and panda. Even tried the fix at sarc.com. No way to get rid of it besides reformatting my HD??? I can do that, but I would hate to. Any help out there? Thanks,

Did you use the removal tool whilst booted into safe mode? Did you
disable system restore,boot into safe mode then run the removal tool
and full NAV scan?
