Protect e-mail and Change settings

Is there anyway to protect an e-mail so that the receiver
cannot edit it? (without putting in a word doc and
attaching)

also, I know that I can go in on each e-mail and set a
delay for delivery but can I set a default so that every e-
mail is delayed by a set time?
