You guys really are the GREATEST! New question, what are the pros and cons of Include Pages? I used to swear by frames, but now have seen the light about include pages. Are they too good to be true?

Also, I recall reading on the web that I needed delete the <head></head> tags for the pages I plan on including. Is this true?

Thanks.

Adam

Also, still looking for a good tutorial on CSS that won't kill me.

Includes are great time savers!!!

When using the FP Include Page component DO NOT remove any of the basic HTML tags. Note with the FP
Include Page component on the content that is between the <body>...content to be included..</body>
tags will be included on other pages.

sure,
in FrontPage 2003 either "code view" or split view with your cursor set in
(and focus given to) code view pane,
hit control+enter keys. a pop up of different snippets of code will appear.

you can add and remove from this list etc.

It's very handy.

Ok, but how does that replace the functionality of Include Pages?

Chris didn't say it replaced anything, just that it is his favourite
feature where Include pages used to be.

Cool... so do you mean that this is now your favorite feature as opposed to inser pages, or do you mean that these snippets somehow reduce the useability of the incude pages?

The former, I'm sure....

no, just general favorite new feature. ;-) sorry for the confusion. I
continue to use FrontPage includes and recently posted a message to someone
looking to replace their frameset's menu by using them.
snippets and includes have only usefulness in common.
