I have a excel file that has a series of 3 rows. 1st row is labeled 'Old',
2nd row is labeled 'New' and the 3rd row is blank. Now the 'Old' row has
data that I need to add to the 2nd row or the 'New' row. Then skip the blank
row and start again. Any ideas how to accomplish this? Please keep in mind
I am very green in the use of Excel.

Thank you for your assistance.

What you really need to do this best is a macro. If you think you want to
attempt this, let me know, and give a more detailed example of what you are
trying to acomplish (e.g., step by step how would you do this manually, as in
"First I would look at cell in col A, compare to values in column B and C,
then I would either copy B to A or C to A... etc.), and I will post a quick
sample. I would be happy to do this up for you but this is a help forum,
where people come to learn, and ordinarily i get paid for this sort of thing
:)

Thank you.

I definitely would not want to get into anyone's earnings. Giving me the
pointer of a macro may be enough; I do not really know. If I need more, I
will post again.

Thanks
