Is there a way to prohibit PST files from getting to
large? Like some kind of file quota? We HAVE to access
PST files over the network and anything over 300MB or so
affects system and network perfomance. We can't get these
users to stop saving so much...

Jaime,

Just for reference, using .pst files over the network is no longer a
supported configuration.

As for limiting the size of a .pst file, there are policies for limiting the
..pst size if you are using Outlook 2003. I am not aware of any policies for
earlier versions of Outlook.

Another approach to this problem is to enforce autoarchive policies. This
way, the "working" .pst file is maintained at a fairly consistent level.

Hope this helps.
