progress bar

Does anyone know how i can change the default rectangles
in the progress bar to the smooth bar that appears. I
could do this in the VB6 changing the scrolling property
of the progress bar but this option doesnt seem to be
available in VB.NET

can anyone plz point me in the right direction?
