Programs will not install

I am unable to install the application " Documents to GO" on a users PC. I get an error message abouot the Microsoft Installer is corrupt. I tried to download MSICUU and that also tells me that the installer is corrupt. Where can I find a download to reinstall or install a newer version of the Microsoft Installer

Windows Installer error
Go to Start/Run and type: regsvr32 msi.dll
then
Go to Start/Run and type
SFC /SCANNOW
Make sure you have your WinXP CD in the CD Drive before executing the SFC
command.
