Recently I have been plagued with program crashes and non responsive
programs can anyone suggest how I can stop this happening and turn off the
send details screen

I would reccommend against turning off the error reporting as these error
reports are what allow us to make changes to XP and later to be more
resilient to what other programs do, but you can turn it off.

Open your System Properties (Either choose System from the Control Panel, or
right-click My Computer and choose Properties), go to the Advanced Tab and
click the Error Reporting button at the bottom right hand corner of the
dialogue box. From here you can change when and if Error Reporting sends
reports.

i have had my computer just over 1yr, in the first year before the warrenty run out i had only one problem, the scanner wasnt and still isnt working properly, but i can work around that! Now, i keep having problems running any program, cause it crashes constantly, or it restarts itself! It has just done that and i couldnt get back onto the computer cause it kept restarting and restarting and restarting!!! Very frustrating! i have sent all error reports, done all they said to do, even run the memory diagnostic start up for 1hr! It does not find any fault, and it repeats itself by restarting! It said that i had a driver fault too, so i downloaded all the updates etc, but it carries on!!! I am at my witts end with the machine! I had windows 98 before, and i never had any of these problems at all!!!!!!!!! If you can help me please do! I need it asap!
