Thanks,

What exactly do you mean with "everything"?

How is the monitor involved ?

Hi,
My monitor is in the shop for a couple days and I'd like to use my computer.
So I want to disable the display function and use the printer in the meantime.

I am certain a printer is not a monitor and I'm pretty sure your monitor is
not in the shop.

Ask the people in the shop to lend you an old CRT monitor. There are so many
of them around that shop owners throw them out by the dozen.

Hi Sandy , although you use "print screen " or a program to print what
you see , the printer is actually printing off the harddrive . So
technically you don`t have to use the monitor/display to print
anything , although it helps .

In XP, "PrintScreen" doesn't print the screen.

The "PrintScreen" function has been modified to alphabetize your files on
the hard drive or translate file extensions into Morse Code. I forget which.

Very funny. Back to real life: Pressing the PrtSc button on the keyboard
will copy the current screen to the clipboard.

Ah, I distinctly remember forgetting that! Thanks for the clarification.
