Program uninstall PROBLEM

I had HP Printing software installed on my computer. I
wanted to uninstall it, but the uninstaller wouldn't
install, it would stop at about 80%. I first tried to use
Add/remove programs but Remove/Change button was not
there. Then I tried to manually uninstall it,
but "remind32.exe" was write-protected. I manually
removed all but that file (stupid #1). I tried to change
the registery after that and removed everything I could
find relating to HP's software. (stupid #2) Even then it
still showed up on Add/Remove Programs (???) and the disc
would not reinstall it saying the software was already
installed. I am getting networking hardware on friday and
need to reinstall the HP software using networking
settings. Is there anyway to remove ALL traces of HP from
my computer. Also for some reason search is going really
slow and sometimes stops responding. I also lost
remind32.exe somewhere trying to move it and can't find
it (stupid #3) Thanks!

Call HP tech support and have them walk you through cleaning up your
computer. I like HP products, but their software has gotten worse and
worse. Their tech support is good, although you have to wait.

Thanks, but I think all you have to do is go into the
registery and do searches for anything having to do with
the program (for anybody else that may have this
problem), then reinstall the product. I agree about HPs
products, I like them, but the software keeps getting
worse and worse! Thanks again for your reply!
