I don't know if an application like this exists, but here's what I
want to do.
I'm consolidating a pretty large three-year collection of IE and
Firefox links. Some (a few) will have different names but point to the
same URL, some will be dead by now.
Is there a program that will walk through my Favorites folder (I've
transferred my Firefox links across for convenience) connect to each
shortcut in sucession, and report back on which are invalid?
Additionally, can it - or can another program - work out where
shortcuts point to duplicate URLs, even when they're named
differently?
I'm looking at around 750-800 links, so it's not something I want to
do manually.
Thanks.
