"kind of freezes" means. Does it freeze or doesn't it? There is no
in-between
Does it happen only with WordPerfect 12 and not other apps? Is this a new
phenomenon or has it always been this way?
The second thing to do, if WordPerfect is the only app that exhibits this
behavior is to take yourself to the newsgroup corel.WordPerfect12 on the
news server cnews.corel.com. It's a WordPerfect issue, not a Windows one.
It's therefore not only inappropriate heer in a Windows newsgroup, but you
are also much more likely to get good support there.
On the other hand, if something similar happens in other applications, the
first thing to check is the possibility of malware infestation. Go to
