I have two computers and I put Quake4 on both of them and one works and one
just goes black like it's going to work and after two seconds it pops to the
desktop and nothing happens. I loaded the game 3 times and I tried both of
my hard drives and I undeleted the game completely before I tried to
re-install it. Could it be a video card that went bad but everything else
looks fine. It couldn't be both of my hard drives because I had the game
playing just 2 days ago. Any ideas?

likely you will find
the difference between
both machines to be that
of hardware. By bringing
the faulty machine up to the
standards of the functional machine
you will likely solve the problem.

Certainly, if both machines were identical
you would not be having an issue. By
reading your post, the exclusion of these
differences may have been incidental...

Have you talked to Quake 4 tech support?
