I recently installed Win XP on my computer.But has since
lost the casing for the cd-rom.The casing had the product
key. I hear you can go to the registry and find the
product key how do you do that/
 
Hi Michael,

In Windows XP, the product key is no longer available as Clear text in
registry. you need a software to view the key:

Retrieve your XP CD key
