product key to activate

I do not have product key !!!!!!!!! need to activate or
i will not be able to use ---- I was told that u could
fing it in the registry ----- Someone please help me !!!
Can u give me instructions on how to find it --- I have 1
day left to activate !!!!!!!!!!!
 
Too bad. You need either a valid product key or a hack. It is not on
the CD or in the registry.

Greetings --

If you're at the point where you need to activate WinXP, you're
long past the point of needing the Product Key. The Product Key was
that long string (5 groups of 5 alphanumeric characters) that you had
to enter in order to install the OS. Once the OS is installed,
however, you do not need to re-enter the Product Key to activate.

Of course Bruce is correct. My misread. But if you need the key and
WinXP is installed and working, try this site for a utility that will
give you the key.

You are an idiot. The PK is required at *INSTALLATION* not *ACTIVATION* If
you don't have the PK, how on earth did you manage to install?!

No, Hawk, of course she isn't! She must be a flippin' genius to have
installed Windows without the PK!
