I would like to know if can use the CD I have that I
installed my xp with and purchase another product key for
it so I can install it on another computer,or do I have to
buy another CD of XP

Can you assist with a problem I have- which is sort of the
reverse? I bought an XP OEM Home edition for my son's
computer, and it successfully installed over his Windows
ME edition. I bought another Full Edition (upgradeable)
version of XP Home for myself, and the CD cracked. I
tried installing my son's onto my computer as I have a
separate Prod ID and it wouldn't load. Can I get a
replacement CD from MS?

Thanks

Hi

You can purchase another PK for the XP CD that you have,
but the difference between that and buying another copy of
XP is not very much:
