because I don't have my product activation key code...how

If you formatted the drive when you reinstalled XP, the information is
lost and you'll need to buy the program again or use an alternate word
processor (OpenOffice is very good and it's free - www.openoffice.org).
If you did a repair installation of XP (reinstalled without
formatting), use a program like Aida32 to find the product key.

I think you mean the one for Word? If so, load word, bypass for a
moment the request to activate, and take Help - about Word. The number
needed is given there
