I recently upgraded my PC and Windows XP asked me to do a
product activation. I tried to activate it by calling the
toll-free number, but the pre-recorded customer service
rep told me that the product id was not in their records.
The system I upgraded had Windows XP previously installed
on it before I got it. What do I do? I don't want to have
to wipe my hard drive and reinstall everything. My PC
didn't come with a Windows CD anyway. Any help would be
much appreciated.
