Hi,
I try to produce the image using the common procedure. At the end of the
processes I have no errors, but the FBA fails. The target has a Maxtor
6E040L0 device.

Thanks Oded.

onitz,

More details would be nice.

What the "common procedure" you used to create the iamge?
What is your target specifics - RAM, disks, partitions, etc.?
What error you saw during FBA?
What does FBALog.txt show?
etc.

First I would like to thank you for your reply
I'm still new at the field of XPE
After investigating a bit the problem, I've found ou
that what is missing is some drivers to suppor
the specific sbc860 board. What I have to do is to
add them to the database
I'm trying to do this with no success so far
The target is built out of the following components
Intel Pentium4 2.4Gh
248MB ram
It has one disk with 2 partitions
one for XPPro and the other one for XPE
Thanks

onitz,

How do you "add" the drivers to the database?
Did you componentize them?
What errors you are experiencing?

Let us know the details here if you need help.

Hi

I use the component designer and the manager to add the drivers
I have a CD that arrived with the board. It has an installation setup
The problem is to define which of the CD contents should be added t
the DB
The error I encounter are during the importing of the pmq file. One o
the errors for example is: "Warning:Could not find a driver fo
Intel(R) Graphics Chipset (KCH) Drive
(DISPLAY\IN-KCH-8XX-CHIPSETS).
and so on

Thanks

onitz,

I am not sure what kind of help you are looking for.

You seem not to add all the drivers properly to the XPe database and expect the PMQ import to work?

Not knowing and seeing what is on CD I won't be able to tell you what should be added. But obviously, you want to search CD for INF
files that has links to the content that gives you the errors you saw during the PMQ import.

If you don't know what particular drivers do and there is no documentaiton on the CD, you should contact the board manufacturer for
help.
