Process Explorer 8.34 Problem

Hi, I installed the latest Process Explorer version 8.34 in my WinXP home.
I previously had version 6.03 which worked great in my XP. But the latest
version has bug, I think.

Here's the problem. After running Process Explorer, I closed the app. When
I run the Task Manager, it shows the proc explorer still running in the
background. I had to use the Task Manager to End the task. If I don't end
the task with Task Manager and when I run the proc explorer again, it would
show two instances of the process. Even if I chose the Option inside proc
explorer to allow only one instance, it wouldn't matter. After I closed the
app, proc explorer is still running in the background, unless I use the Task
manager to end-task.

Anyone else having the similar problem Proc Explorer version 8.34.

The lastest version 8.34 was released in the middle of March 2004.

Heh, Adobe Acrobat 5.x and 6.x also have this problem, especially with the
plugin they have for IE. It keeps running.

As for Process Explorer.. interesting, I don't have that problem... and i
got same version, unless it's XP specific. =)

Process Explorer works in Windows 2000, but may have problem in Windows XP.
The software is not releasing itself when closed.
