Problems with Windows Mail not opening-need fix not redirect

I want my Windows Mail to work without the messages and the missing contacts.
I do NOT want directed to use Windows Live Mail. This is supposed to be a
new and better way of doing things-I want a FIX, not a redirect to something
else. With this problem being so widespread and it has been so long-who do I
contact to get the fix. No-one here seems to have a clue-so who does???
