Problems with VOTING BUTTONS

Is there a way to use voting buttons to users outside of your company? The
emails I send with voting buttons do not carry to email addresses outside of
our company. If not, is there a patch or something to help facilitate this?
 
you need to set the addresses to always get RTF - and hope the exchange
server don't forcibly convert it to HTML.
